College Rules

Undertaking

Before a student is admitted to the college he/she or his/her guardian (if he/she is below 18 years of age) has to sign an under¬taking in a specified form to the effect that the student shall abide by the rules of the college.(Vide Article 107 of O.E.C.)

Address

Each student must register his address in the college office. Any subsequent change in his address must be intimated to the office in writing immediately.

Identity Card

Students are advised to always keep with them their Iden¬tity Cards which entitle them to all the privileges of college students. The Identity Card must have to be produced on demand. Duplicate Identity Card maybe issued on payment of Rs. 10/-.

Application

Principal does not receive application from students directly. All written applications must be handed over to the Principal's peon. The orders passed on them can be known from the college office counter the same day after 4 PM or the next day.

Interview Hours:

If any student desires to have an interview with the Princi¬pal on any urgent and important matter, he/she can meet him or other officers on his behalf only during the prescribed hours of interview. Student should not ordinarily enter in to the college office, staff common room or Principal office without permission.

Leave

All students who wish to obtain leave of absence from the college must apply for the leave before they actually absent them¬selves.

Private Club or Team

Students of the college are forbidden

  • To belong to any outside athletic club or any other type of club or society or
  • To play for any team other than the college team without pre¬viously obtaining written permission of the principal.

Fee

Fees must be paid on the dates fixed for collection. Other wise fine of Rs.1/- will have to be paid on the last date of collection. Failure to pay the fees by last working day of the month will entail his/her name being struck off the college rolls and re-admission would involve an additional payment of a month's tuition fee to the college as re-admission fee.

C.L.C., Conduct Certificate and Mark sheet

Application for College Leaving, Conduct Certificate and Mark sheets must be submitted three clear days before the day on which the certificate(s) as wanted by the applicant. The applicant, for CLC must get the clearance certificate of the dues if any from different sections in the college and submit the same on the second day of the submission of application in order to be eligible to get the certificate on the third day.

No club or society can be started or maintained in the col¬lege and no function can be organized without the prior permission of the Principal.

Tutorials

As soon as the tutorial groups are formed a student must find out to which tutorial groups he/she has been assigned. If a stu¬dent is not assigned any of the groups, he/she should bring this fact to the immediate notice of the college office.

Students deliberately neglecting tutorial classes are to be mark absent or recommended for fine according to the discretion of the Principal

Discipline

A student of the college must lead a disciplined life and also abide by such hygienic principles and submit him / her to such ant epidemic measures as would be laid down by the Principal.

Post Title

Students should take their seats before the Lecturer enters the class room and should not ordinarily leave their seats during lectures.

Students found disturbing inside the college campus particularly inside the classes in any circumstances will be liable for disciplinary action. Students found eve teasing will be expelled from the college.

Any disobedience, misbehavior by any student to any member of the staff of the college will be seriously dealt with and he/she will be liable for expulsion from the college.

Students should not resort to any act of violence by way of protest for any difficulty found by the them or for any alleged grievances on their part. Such difficulties or grievances, if any, should be first brought to the notice of the Principal for solution.

Students are forbidden to loiter on the college verandah when classes are going on. They should not disturb other classes.

Spitting on the walls, Floors, Pillars and doors of the college is strictly prohibited.

Scribbling on the college walls, pasting placards and other papers or other wise disfiguring college walls or path is strictly prohibited.

Student while attending political meeting should conduct themselves with a sense of decorum so that they do not bring themselves in to undesirable prominence and shall not take part in the proceedings.

Violating any college rule or instigating others to do so shall be regarded as breach of discipline.

Students should not be ordinarily entered into the college office.

No club or society should be started or maintained in the course to function should be organized without the prior approval of the Principal.
